PARADE
WHO: Girls Scout Troops of all levels
WHEN: Sunday, October 30, 2011
WHERE: Sycamore Pumpkin Festival Parade Route (exact location slot TBA)
COST: $2 per Girl Scout – includes: parade patch. Make checks payable to Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois. NO REFUNDS! $25 fee for all checks returned for NSF.
WHAT TO WEAR: Girl Scout uniform, and dress for the weather. This year’s theme is 50 Fabulous Years of Pumpkins. You can carry a troop flag if you have one, or decorate a wagon to pull along.
NOTE: Please do not bring anything to pass out at the parade – this is against Pumpkin Festival rules and violators can be fined up to $100 for each item passed out.

Scout / Family Bowling Day
WHO:
Girl Scouts of all levels and their families.
WHAT:
3 games of bowling.
Girls, bring a friend with to register as a new girl scout and
be entered in a drawing to win a bowling party for your troop ($12
registration fee). Concessions will be available for purchase from
Four Seasons.
WHEN:
Saturday, Sept 17, 2011
TIME:
1pm–3pm or 6pm– 8pm
WHERE:
Four Seasons Sports, 1745 DeKalb Ave, Sycamore
COST:
Shared Bowling – 3 games plus shoes $10 per person, $7.50 if you
have your own shoes.
Shared bowling is 2 partners sharing each frame of the
bowling. This is
perfect for a new bowler and a parent / older sibling.
Regular Bowling – 3 games plus shoes $15 per person, $12.50
if you have your own shoes.
Cost includes patch for registered girl scouts (additional
avail for purchase).
