A third generation music performer, Tim has displayed his abilities to play a wide variety of instruments and musical styles, performing in recording studios and on stage playing soprano, alto, and tenor saxophones, electric bass, stand up bass, latin percussion, and keyboards. His main focus, however, is tenor saxophone in the tradition of Dexter Gordon, Sonny Rollins, Stanley Turrentine, Wayne Shorter, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Michael Brecker, Bob Mintzer, etc. Add to this his talents as composer, arranger, and sound/technical engineer and you can see why Tim and his music are well respected and in constant demand, working with as many as ten different bands at a time, as leader, as soloist, as side man, or all of the above. Without the benefit of an extensive formal music education, Tim nonetheless distinguishes himself and continues to earn the high regard of his peers with his natural ability, constant pursuit of excellence, and consistent masterful performance. As owner of LTD Music Productions, Tim has had the privilege of working with many top notch musicians, and has been the guest soloist on numerous recordings.
