You might want to read the poem first to get a sense of what I tried to do.
See the poem here.
Here, I attempt to interleave the dual parts.

The percussion here is made entirely of snippets of Vicki (the Mac voice) speaking a bit of source code. I also grabbed out a few interesting code words to sprinkle here and there.

the darkness drops again but now you know
if you are fairly certain you're awake
ensnare sweet influence of pleiades
or loose the bands orion if you dare
things fall apart the center cannot hold
recall and fear the salem witchcraft trials
remembering when first you held the wheel
a witch cake was prepared to find the truth
you held the wheel and sailed for distant lands
asleep were we and no one at the bridge
you ask why must your crew desert you now
when you've become aware you're in a dream
you do believe the truth shall make you free
as anarchy is loosed upon the world

Mind The Monks[PLAY]

After years of careful research and tireless investigation, uncovering and decoding, Rejewski knew it was there.
It had to be: it simply made sense. It could be no other way.
The thought increasingly haunted his dreams. The enciphered scripts unrolled before him.
The maps and their Gnostic symbols were clear to him now. He knew their secrets.
In his reveries he plotted how to gain access undetected to the undercroft.
Although he had yet to set his eyes upon it, he knew exactly how the niche appeared.
He could visualize the Coptic inscription just below the opening.
This night was the time for action. He had rehearsed this in his mind dozens of times: each precise step to attain his goal.
Soon, the artefact would be in his deserving hands.

Tomographic Notions[PLAY]
|
track 13
time 4:34

Tomography is imaging by sections or sectioning.
In this song, the piano is split into 3 tracks for the right hand, and 2 tracks for the left hand. The tracks are panned to spread them apart. Each track is faded in and out separately to combine them in different ways. The intent is to let the listener examine each piece by hearing what happens when a track is NOT there.
The French horns are similarly split into 2 tracks. Nothing very fancy is done with these tracks, just some simple fading at the start and end.
The drums are split into 3 tracks, but only the high hat is actually separated. The rest of the drums gradually fade in. Here I experimented a bit with sample delay, rather than panning, to avoid masking the other stuff that was going on.
Finally at the end all the pieces are brought together to form the whole object.

Omega
blue sparks
fifty foot long blue sparks
jumping like lightning
from the high tension wires to the ground
jumping between the wires
slowly from one tower to the next
the blue sparks multiply
sailing to the North
and to the South
spreading through the grid
dancing across the wires
from the East
to the West
she looks at me with her steel blue eyes
a hint of a smile
but mostly
concern
in those eyes
the lights have been out for days
no word
on when they might return...
the world has stopped
there's nowhere to go
and no way to get there
chat with the neighbors
and check what's left in our fridge
and when it gets dark...
it gets dark.
darker than i've ever seen before
and the night sky is ablaze
with planets, stars and galaxies
it's all we have left
