Here are some pics of some of my fish. Everyone has been asking to see "Whale", and his buddies. "Whale" is the fish that I won in the September Contest sponsored by The Goldfish Connection. He is a large (6"+) black Lionhead. "Spot" is the small gold colored Lionhead (who no longer has his spots). "Y.T." (Whitey) is the small white Lionhead, who's head and tail have begun to show color. I think the color enhancing foods have done a bit of this, but I really like the new look, so no changes in his diet are planned. The larger red Lionhead is "Sushi".
Below are some pictures I shot with a 35mm camera, using a 70mm lens and a flash. The room was kept darkened to keep reflections to a minimum. The difficulty in getting Whales colors to show up with the digital camera I usually use was the reason for this method. The picture Whale-02.jpg is my favorite.
