This is an app that I found on the web, I think from java.sun.com that plays sounds (.au) files on the Z.

What you will need - JDK (latest version)  - get from http://java.sun.com

Downloads -

    SoundExample.zip - java files, html and sound files       

    SoundExampleSource.zip - class files, html and sound files
