My name is Kelly Pratt (the artist formerly known as Kelly Martin). I live in Huntsville, Alabama and I work as a call center agent for Space Camp at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. It's not a very glamorous job, but it's a living. I'm also currently a Senior at the University of Alabama in Huntsville as an art major for Graphic Design and have a new minor in Art History. Yeah, I know: "Do you want fries with that?" School is finally out for the holidays and I couldn't be gladder. Now if I could just win the lottery and quit working...
Oh, you wanted to know specifics, huh? Well, if you were to ask anyone who knows me well, they would probably tell you I'm an unusual individual. Not that I totally go out of my way to be so or anything. That's just the kind of person that I am! I love to sing and create art. Right now I'm passionate about screen printing, computer graphics, and any type of thing I can make out of paper. I also love reading, writing (although I don't have much patience to write anything epic), take pictures, travel, and cook.
I also love to paint, decorate my house, go grocery shopping, do arts and crafts (Martha Stewart fears me), and play with Butler and Bear, The Two Cutest Dogs in the World (tm).
I'm also married to a great guy named Steve. We met at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in 1997 when he asked me to be nice to his girlfriend because she didn't have many friends there and three years later we got married! Fancy that. : ) We don't have any kids right now, and no plans for any in the near future, so please don't ask!
As of right now, I am working and going to school pretty much all of the time. I wish I had more time to pursue my interests, but I'm beginning to realize that unless you A) have a lot of money B) have no desire to go to college and C) have no responsibilities, that normal people don't have much time for anything interesting. However, that is why I try to give my days a little spice whenever I can. Don't get scared, I keep it all legal! : )
