Happy 5th Anniversary!

    Once upon a time, there lived two people who were "just friends".  In fact, they were dating other people, so even though everyone thought they were dating, they weren't. 

    Actually, they spent a lot of time with each other, talking about how unhappy they were with the people they were dating. In his case, the girl was a psycho-hose-beast with relationship issues, in hers, the guy turned out to be gay.  They kept each other company and became very good friends who had a great time hanging out.

   One day,  May 30th, 1997 to be exact,  they realized that being friends wasn't enough, so much to everyone's smug glee, they started dating.

   They dated for almost two years, and had a lot of adventures together.

    Then on January 16th, 1999, he took her to the park, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry him.  She wasn't so sure she had heard him right, so she just stared at him for a second, and asked him  "Are you serious?"  He looked a little taken back, but nodded, and she laughed and said "Oh, OK! Yeah, Yes, OK!"  Since they didn't want to get married right away, they set their wedding date to November 11th, 2000.

 

And they've lived happily ever after...so far.
