I used Simplicity 4426 for the Jedi tunic and tabbards. The obi is
a simple self-lined rectangle closed with velcro. The inner tunic is
a self-drafted "false tunic". The pants are store-bought.
The tunic, tabbards and obi are fashioned from a medium-weight crinkled
polyester fabric. The tunic is lined with the wrong-side-out of a satin-like
material.
My belt, two pouches and food caps were made for me by Mel Mattson,
who does high-quality leather work for costumes and props. The pouches
are fully functional and use magnetic clasps to close. I was able to
carry my cellphone, camera, spare camera battery, ID, money, and lipstick
all in the pouches - very convenient! If you're interested in purchasing
a leather-related prop from Mel, she can be found here.
My lightsaber hilt was fabricated by DarthHair from a single piece
of aluminum using his lathe. It is actually a Jaina
Solo lightsaber hilt, designed based on the Japanese cover artwork
for the novel Reunion.
It is very sturdy, and built with the option to hold a acryllic lightsaber
blade if so desired. DarthHair's excellent prop-work, ranging from lightsaber
hilts to code-cylinders, belt buckles, Tuskin accessories and replica
blasters, can be found here.
