I got a bit of good knitting in last week on the unbelievably adorable baby item. I finished the back and I'm 1/2 way through the right side now.

I also ordered (and received) the yarn for sweater I'm planning for the preggers seestor. It's quite spiffy alpaca/tencel blend from elann. But I've said too much. ;)

But in the meanwhile, I also knit a purse. I'm so in love with this yarn. It's beautiful red manos colorway. I loved how it turned out so much that I even raided my craft stash for fabric and lined it in this red/cream tapestry fabric I had hanging around. This purse is *very* sturdy.

The only thing left to do is embellish the center of each cable with a bead or charm (yet to be picked out)
