Yesterday I knitted away on Gordon's devil Kitty hat and actually finished the basic hat bit. What a fast knit, I started the day with just a few rows done. This is the kittyville hat from SNB, only I'm making one with both ears & horns. The hat and ears are black, and the horns and tail barbs will be red. I'm also going to cross stitch an esoteric bind rune type symbol in red on the front when I'm done. It will be frickdorable on my 6'1" black leather wearing hubby ;)

So I brought a full grab bag of knitting projects for Elliot Bay knitting today. I'll be finishing up The above mentioned hat, knitting the handles for Karen's bag, and probably starting on my bucket hat. I still need to decide whether I'm making another tank top next, or a sweater. Decisions decisions. :) Speaking of sweaters, I'm having and urge to rip out the neck band of my skully sweater and reknit it. It was the first time I'd ever picked up stitches, and it looks awful to me now, with my more experienced eyes.

It feels odd not to have a big project on the needles. I'm 3/4 of the way through the seestor's stripy felted bag. No pictures yet though, I don't want to ruin the surprise ;) Mom remarked that she liked the colors though, when I was working on it yesterday.

I think my fuzzy sock is still going okay. The turning of the heel was without drama. It might be a little small though... I like this yarn enough that I'm debating frogging it and starting over so I'll actually have a wearable pair of practice socks :)

I'm ready to cast on for the devil kitty hat, maybe tonight. I get giggly when I imagine my DH in it, which is incentive enough to get off my duff and start it. I couldn't get to the post office on Saturday to pick up the needles I bought off of ebay for it. Grr, they changed the Saturday hours to 10:30 to Noon and there was no way to do it and still make it to aquacize and get the cat to the vet for her appointment. So I bought needles at Linda's for it, and I'll try to make it home early one day this week to pick up the other ones.

Plus I'm jonsing for a bucket hat, and I'd feel to guilty starting that before Gordon get's his hat. I also need to start a new sweater.... Too many things to knit and I want to do them all NOW. Teehee.

Here's Mom modeling her vest! I'm so happy, it fit her perfectly. I love seeing my improvement, this is definitly my best work to date. :)
