I had a lovely time with Joy after work yesterday at Elliott Bay. She's moved on from her crocheted afghan to a ribbed scarf. She's using vintage yarn left over from her big comfy sweater that she made ages ago.
And speaking of big comfy sweaters, I spent yesterdays knitting time seaming together my Lana D'oro sweater. I had about 2 ft of yarn left over at the end, teehee. My only complaint is that the bottom edging tweaks out a bit. But seeing as I haven't even blocked it yet, I'm not too worried. If worse comes to worse, I'll find a similar yarn and add a little seedstitch to the bottom. So I took a picture last night... I think I look a bit too much like a giant grape, but here it is anyway, lol.
I love how soft and squishy it is. It makes me want to take a nap ;) The cable turned out nice too, and it actually fits. By gawds, I think I'm improving.
