Frogging Fun
So Tuesday I was finishing up my first fuzzy foot when I realized that the first marker was in the wrong spot, doh! I had accidentally pulled out one of my needles 2 or 3 times Sunday morning and had thought I'd gotten the marker back in the right place, but alas no.

So instead of ripping out back to the middle of the instep I decided I'd better get cooking on Sherry's passport bag. This also involved some frogging as I decided that I hated the red and purple stripes I'd added to the charcoal main color. So I frogged 6 inches or so and decided to go with solid charcoal. I got a lot done on it last night at Elliott Bay waiting for Gordon to get downtown. I'm about half way done with the i-cord now and should be finished by the time I get home tonight.

Hopefully I'll have just enough time to felt it when I get home. I think I'll stretch it over a box and put it upright on my sweater rack in the dryer on extra low before I go to aquacize. Hopefully it will be dry enough to add a little embroidery before bed so I can give it to her tomorrow. Nothing like working right up against a deadline ;)

I also decided what to do with my pretty purple peruvian wool from elann. I'm going to get crazy ambitious and try out my gauge conversion skills. I'm going to use the shapely tee pattern as a template and convert it to the 4 stitches per inch gage. Then I'll lengthen the sleeves to 3/4 length, and add a cable up the front. Wish me luck :)

The yarn for mom's vest still hasn't arrived. If it's not here tomorrow I'll have to shoot webs an email and see what's up.
