Dek-Hockey follows rules and regulations as set forth by
the National
Dek-Hockey Association
- League fee is $80 per player and covers the cost of
all regular season games.
- Each team is to pay $20 per game to cover referee fees.
- You
must play in at least half of the scheduled games
to be eligible for the playoff roster.
- Your
final roster and league money is due in full by
the 5th game of the season. Failure to comply will
be dealt with by the league President.
RULES
- Lobbing
the ball is allowed.
- You
cannot hand pass in the defensive zone. All hand
passes are considered violations and will result
in stoppage of play and a face-off at the appropriate
spot.
- You
can close your hand on the ball providing you do not
advance it.
- Fighting
is not tolerated on the rink. A fine and suspension
will be given at the discretion of the league President.
- Fighting
in the parking lot is strictly forbidden!!! Anyone
fighting in the parking lot will be subject to
fine, suspension and possible legal action.
- Teams
are responsible for the conduct of their fans and can
be penalized for the unruly actions of fans.
- All players under the age of 18 must wear a full face
cage.
- Players
must wear the correct color jersey during games.
If you do not wear your team colors, you will not
be permitted to play in the game. (The game official
will make the final decision as to what will be
allowed in the case of a discrepancy.)
- NEW There
will be a running clock when, in the second period,
a team has a lead of 5 goals or more. If the deficit
is less than five at any time, the game will resume
the stopped clock.
