Dek-Hockey follows rules and regulations as set forth by
the National Dek-Hockey Association
FEES
League
fee is $80 per player and covers the cost of all regular
season games.
Each
team is to pay $20 per game to cover referee fees.
You
must play in at least half of the scheduled games to be
eligible for the playoff roster.
Your
final roster and league money is due in full by the 5th
game of the season. Failure to comply will be dealt with
by the league President.
RULES
Lobbing
the ball is allowed.
You
cannot hand pass in the defensive zone. All hand passes
are considered violations and will result in stoppage of
play and a face-off at the appropriate spot.
You
can close your hand on the ball providing you do not advance
it.
Fighting
is not tolerated on the rink. A fine and suspension will
be given at the discretion of the league President.
Fighting
in the parking lot is strictly forbidden!!! Anyone fighting
in the parking lot will be subject to fine, suspension
and possible legal action.
Teams
are responsible for the conduct of their fans and can be
penalized for the unruly actions of fans.
All
players under the age of 18 must wear a full face cage.
Players
must wear the correct color jersey during games. If you
do not wear your team colors, you will not be permitted
to play in the game. (The game official will make the final
decision as to what will be allowed in the case of a discrepancy.)
CONDUCT
Abuse
of referees will absolutely not be tolerated!!! Any
player or fan abusing the referees will be subject to discipline
from the appointed game officials and the league President.
Please
show each other the proper respect. This is a recreational
sport so keep that in mind before doing something you may
regret.
Any league
issues you may have should be brought to the attention of
league officials and the league President.
