TAS Classic MotorSports officially started out in the Mid 90's when a hobby grew out of hand...

Terry has been building bikes, and Hot Rod VWs since he was in High School. His true passion is the old stuff, the machines that others turn away due to the fact that its not new, or parts are just too hard to come by.

A UAW Journeyman by trade, when things began to get a tad slow in the automotive industry, during a layoff, Terry swapped the home computer for a 1961 Honda Dream, and its been happening ever since. The bikes just keep rolling through.

Today, Terry, Angie, and their two sons Mathew, and TJ spend nearly every weekend, and free moment fixing up old motorcycles, and repairing others with an "old school" flare. Currently working out of a very modest "backyard" shop, TAS can fix bikes for less, and since they like the older bikes, they do the work that the bigger shops won't touch. They not only do routine repair work, they also bring "barn" bikes back to life.

Future plans for the shop include locating or building an "old school" store with a few shop restored bikes up front, odds and ends to keep bikes rolling hanging on every wall, and a shop out back that just like todays TAS, will have a strong work ethic, up front, and fair rates, and a personal touch you won't find at the big shops.... They never want to fix bikes because they have to, they always want to do it because they want to....

...Thanks a Ton!
