The Taverneers closed out the Hartford Vintage Base Ball Invitational tournament with a pair of strong wins against the Elizabeth Resolutes and the Flemington Neshanock.  The Taverneers' hitting, fielding, and base running was the strongest of the season to date and they were able to put it all together for an entire day of great play in front of very large tournament crowds.

By the end of the day, the Taverneers were exhausted but thrilled with their performance against such experienced and worthy opponents.

The Taverneers completed the tournament play with four games in three days and a tournament record of 3 wins and 1 loss.  This great win/loss record was achieved against some of the best teams in the Northeast and accomplished despite being plagued by old injuries and several fresh injuries incurred during the tournament games.
