Career:  Canuka grew up on an apple orchard in Eastern Connecticut and had a passion for throwing apples at his younger sister.  Word grew through the Eastern Connecticut towns that there was an orchard kid that could hit a dime at fifty yards with an apple.  Little did he know that the coach for the Knickerbocker Ball Club of New York City was in town for a wedding and spotted him throwing and was impressed by his natural ability.  The coach elected him to the club that day.  After a short stint with the Knickerbockers, Canucka moved back to Connecticut where he now resides white washing houses and throwing apples at folks for fun.  Stretch D'Apice got in the way of an apple one day and said "with an arm like that, you need to be on the Taverneers".  Play ball!
