Mandolin LOA has earned the prestigious Legion of Merit ++ award from the Arabian Horse Association for all her performance and halter
accomplishments. Mandolin reached her Legion of Merit in just 5 shows. Thanks to Rich Doran for his hard work and training Mandi
accomplished all the performance requirements in 3 shows. Watch for her ceremony celebrating this honor.

JDM Pietra was to be out of a show career last January of 2007 after coming up lame during turnout. It was suggested that she
was fusing in her right front fetlock joint, so she did what most horses do with career ending news and retired to pasture. After
6 months of rest and enjoying the pasture life for nearly 2 years Katie decided to pull her out one day for fun.Pebbles was eager
to return to work and has done so for the last 2 months happy and sound. Pietra made her way back to the show ring in the
2008 DAHA Fall Show. After all that time off she came back into the ring like an old pro showing and the results were
fabulous.

Canadian Nationals
Mandolin, Katie, and Katie's Dad headed to Canada for their first National Show. The 2008 Canadian Nationals was a
lot of fun and the competetion was very exciting. Mandolin kicked off the show with Mia Doran in the 13 & Under Halter
Showmanship earning a Top Ten. Katie and Mandolin made the Half Arabian Hunter Pleasure AAOTR 18-39 cut Thursday morning... Katie
was ecstatic to have been a Finalists. Rich Doran and Mandolin were Candian National Top Ten in the Half
Arabian Hunter Pleasure Junior Horse Friday afternoon. Katie held her breath the whole class and she was very excited that Rich &
Mandi made it back in for a victory pass.
