JDM Pietra is a very special mare that Katie purchased from Ali Brady in 2006. Pietra's sweet nature, beauty and ability allowed Katie to really excel in the Hunter Amateur and Open division. After lots of winning in 2006 Pietra was injured and had to stop showing. The injury was thought to be permanent but after 2 year of rest Pietra made a come back at the DAHA Fall Fling where she Champion Hunter AATR & Reserve Champion Hunter AAOTR. Watch out for her in '09 as she will make her way into the ring again in Hunter & Sport Horse.
