Where/When?

Over the 1997 Memorial Day holiday I spent 3 days diving The Channel Islands off the Santa Barbara California coast aboard ‘The Conception’, a dive boat from Truth Aquatics, with Sami Laine, my buddy for the trip, and a group of San Jose area divers. Sami and I drove down from San Jose on Friday.

Once we stowed our gear on board we went for dinner and drinks. When we returned to the boat we went right to bed. The boat started out from Santa Barbara Friday night at 11:30p.m.  We woke up off San Clemente island ready for breakfast and our first dive.

(Check out my second trip with Truth Aquatics to dive for lobsters with my cousin Todd)
