In secular music we told vocalists to quit whining, get tough and sing in the key the song was written in - in Christian music, we're much more accomodating to our singers (the message is everything), and end up changing keys all the time. We don't like capos, but lots of people have trouble transposing.

This is a *.jpg file (just a regular ol' picture file) of a little transposer-thingy you can make quick and easy. Sort of a circular slide rule, it will instantly show you exactly what your transposed chords should be. Now it's a little crude - I'm no graphic artist, but it works great. Print two copies on heavy paper - cut the big circle out of one, the small circle out of the other. Poke a hole in the center of each and fasten them together somehow (I just used a rivet) - not too tightly, they need to be able to "spin". Then line up the key you're in on one wheel with the key you want to be in on the other wheel - just read off the chord changes around the wheel, and Bob's yer' Uncle.

So many people have mentioned to me that they're not able to un-zip a file, that you can now

get the songs below in a self-extracting zip file. Just double-click on the file name if you download it - you'll be able to use the little browser thing to point to a directory you want them unzipped TO.

It's an "*.exe" file, but don't be afraid, it's innocuous.

These are all songs on my personal "list" - I figured them out manually, and they're all in a key which allows me to play with some recording. Please note that I do NOT use Microshaft Word to create these sheets - they're created in another processor, then translated to Word for posting here. Therefore, there may be slight glitches or weird characters in them - I apologize for this. I don't feel bad enough about it to change, though. Also, the "Quick View Plus" program that you get if you click on the name introduces further formatting weirdness, so downloading (right-click, then Save) is the cleanest option.

Artists names (when mentioned) are to indicate a specific recording, not authorship.
