    Welcome to Mr. Brown's Cyber School!  This web site is designed to be used as a safe, educational tool for Seitz Middle School students, parents, and teachers as well as visitors from around the world.

    I retired from being a public school teacher in June of 2006 after teaching for a total of 34 1/2 years.   The last 32 1/2 years I taught at Seitz Middle School in Riverview, Michigan.

    I am now playing my accordion for parties, special events and weddings.   I have recorded 638 songs on 39 CDs, during the past two yeasr and plan to record hundreds more.   I have a collection of over 3,000 songs which I can play.   I am able to sound like a four piece band/orchestra and I do not play to pre-recorded music.   Everything is played live because of the MIDI controls which have been installed on my accordion and having three digital, sound modules and an orchestra/rhythm unit connected.   I have over forty years of experience playing for weddings, parties, and special events.

            To preview a particular student's grade one needs to click on     "Students' Grades" and enter a student's eight digit "ID" and four digit "PIN" number into the correct class and time period.

            The following two web pages were created to help students, parents, teachers, and guests locate information concerning the disciplines of Social Studies.   Each page has hundreds of great links as well as appropriate lesson plans, notes, worksheets and test reviews.   Many of these are originals I have created over my thirty plus years of teaching.

            For Seitz Teachers: Wayne County RESA has created a huge library of online Video Streaming, Teaching Guides, Black-Lined Masters, Calendar, Image Library, Quiz Center, Newsletter, Clip Art Gallery, Writing Prompts, and Lesson Plans for all grades and subjects.  All downloads support Michigan's Standards and Benchmarks concerning Michigan's M.E.A.P.            Learn how to use the Internet.   This site provides an overview of the Internet and how to use it for a variety of purposes.  The general Internet introduction sets the stage by presenting the history of the Internet and the Web section follows with the history of the World Wide Web.  Of special interest to teachers are the Safe Surfing and the Search sections.     Making A Web Page
           The following Web Page Guides will instruct as well as show you how to make your own web page.   I am very proud of all the awards for my web page Mr. Brown's Web Page Guide.   I have also created a special web page Cyber Stuff which has dozens of great links that will assist one about using the vast resources of the Internet.   Included on "Cyber Stuff" Web Page:  Learning how to make professional banners and titles.   Discovering where to get free animated gifs, counters, web tools, screen savers, hard drive storage, and guest books.   Using java scripts, search engines, and internet providers.   Searching for additional online HTML tutorials, free web site hosts, internet training, and how does one go about publishing web pages.   Fixing web pages, and registering domains.   Downloading midi songs and learning how to put music on one's web page.
