In order to encourage our junior high students to become better organized and accountable for their work, the following rules have been implemented for the 2012-2013 school year.

Every child will...

  • Bring his or her assignment book to each class throughout the day.

  • All assignments are due during the class time of each particular subject.

  • Students are not allowed to return to homeroom to retrieve an assignment.

  • If the assignment is turned in by the end of that school day, 90 percent will be the highest possible grade.

  • If the assignment is turned in the next day, during class, the highest possible grade will be an 80 percent.

  • Any assignment turned in after that next day, during the class, will result in a 0 percent.

  • In the instance of an illness or other excused absence, the Holy Family School "missed assignments" policy is in effect.
