ABSURD MATH
Absurd Math is an interactive pre-algebra mathematical problem solving game series. The player proceeds on missions in a strange world where the ultimate power consists of mathematical skill and knowledge. Many of the pages have hidden clues and areas.
Batters up Baseball
Students try for homeruns, Doubles or Singles in the interactive Internet baseball game. Fun sounds and graphics keep the students interest.
COOLMATH 4 KIDS
A super selection of math games, puzzles, and problems that will keep students interested and engaged in math, a nice site. Includes an algebra section with 136 lessons. Also has some nice information on science.
MATH EXPLORER
Explore new approaches to mathematics with these fun games, tricks, and activities from the Exploratorium. The Math Explorer Project focus is on eleven to fourteen year olds.
EDUCATION PLACE: BRAIN TEASERS
Each Wednesday evening Houghton Mifflin Publishers post a new Brain Teaser for each grade-range. Solutions are posted a week later.

HOT (HANDS ON TASKS) MATH
This site offers student activities, linking math to other school subjects or to students' experiences. Students' age group: ± 14 yrs. No lesson plans are offered, as each idea will need adaptation to class level.
