As u may know, there are 4 types of Vampires:- Blood Dragons,
Nechrach, Lahmia, and Von Carstein
Blood Dragons
-these are the most savage and blood thirsty of all the vampires
Nechrach
-these are the best vampires for using Necromatic magic
Von Carstein
-relatives of Vlad Von Carstein ('nough said)
Lahmia
-these are the most deadly and sneaky of all the vampires
Troops
Skeleton
- these make up the core of most vampire armys. Their cheap
points. But the biggest thing is your necromancer can summon more
and more so even skeleton can kill the toughest foe
Zombies
-these are basically the same as skeletons except cheaper and are
nowhere near as good in hth but at least u summon them into
battle
Ghouls
-there good in hth but not much else. one good thing is that they
can march move. i rank them just above zombies but i suggest
skeletons unless you need cheap good hth warriors.
Wolves
-these are great. get them into hth, and when u charge, the
enemys unit is basically destroyed. I've seen 10 wolves kill
units of orks in one turn. always take a doom wolf
Spirits
-their good for fighting small units without heros, champions
etc. Not very goo in hth but good at taking out nonprotected war
machines cause they can move through walls etc.
Vampire Bats
-not very useful, proberly the most shit thing in the vampire
counts army. Snotlings could kill these things. I dont advise u
to use.
Banshee
-these are suburb. stand behind hills and scream and watch the
enemy die. not good in hth so cover them with a small group of
zombies or ghouls.
Black Coach
-great if it reaches it's full killing potential, but not that
great if it doesn't.stand it an inch behind grave guards with a
vampire, and it willl soon reach ful potential of death.
Grave Guard
-the best unit in the vampire counts army, put a vampire leading
the unit and they'll be unstopable.Charge the enemys best unit
and see them die.
Cavalry
-this is one of the only units that moves quickly in the V.C
army.give them the doom banner and all your attacks will hit when
you charge. recommened
Characters
General- this is your best means of attack. arm him to the core
and dont let him die. Put him in a unit of grave guard and watch
the slaughter.
Vampires
-arm them heavily and kill people. Remember, your vampires
have to be the same blood line.
Necromancer
-always thake a lord, give him alot of magic items. pick the
summon undead spell and use them more then once every turn to
make a huge army. he's the 2n most important person. Without him,
it;s alot harder to win. Keep using the summon undead spells each
turn.
remember- the vampire counts are very powerful. You rely on
magic heavily. Your general must not die. Vampires kick ass
