If you regularly visit "The Warhammer Gallery" you can help the site recieve more hits (which means more content for you to view) by voting each time you are on the site. You can vote for the site up to once a day and all you have to do is click the "Vote" button and then click where it says "Enter". There is no need to register to vote or anything else.
A good portion of this site's hits come from the "TOP 100 WARHAMMER SITES" contest at The Warp. Although this site is usually among the top 10, it rarely reaches the top five. The top five sites get their banners shown on the contest pages, which greatly increases the number of hits that they recieve. I believe that the only reason that The Warhammer Gallery isn't among the top five is that I haven't explained how the contest works thoroughly enough. After recieving many emails and questions from viewers of the site, I figured its time to give you a thorough explanation of the contest. Here is how it works:
- Each site in the contest has a button which allows people to vote for that site. The button for The Warhammer Gallery appears at the top of each main page of the site. It is titled "Vote".
- The sites on the contest page are listed in order from most votes to least votes, with the top 5 having their banners shown, which increases their hits greatly.
- Even though The Warhammer Gallery isn't among the top five, it usually recieves as many hits as each of the sites in the top five. This leads me to believe that were it to be among the top five, it would get A LOT of hits (which means that both the forum and the rest of the site would have a lot more content for you to view).
- What most people don't realize is that you can vote for the site up to once a day. This means that if even a few of the regular visitors voted for the site every time they were on the site (usually once a day). The site would rise among the ranks and remain on the top five list.
- Another thing that people don't realize is that all you have to do is click on the "Vote" button and then click "Enter". There is no need to register to vote or anything else.
- I have tried to make it as easy as possible to vote. I have placed the "Vote" button on every page of the site, as well as opening the link from the "Vote" button on a new page, so you don't even have to click back on you Web Browser, just close the window once you clicked "Enter".
- Please vote for the site often. With your help, it may rise in the ranks and become #1, the best Warhammer Site on the net!
