New Chassis

Well since the engine compartment is now finsh its time to put the front suspension in. I bought a complete suspension kit from Mustang Plus.They call it a Super Starter Kit.It comes with everything you need from front to rear.

Front Suspension:

New Upper Control Arms, Lower Control Arms, Spring Perches,620 Front Coil Springs, Polyurethane Strut Rod Bushings,1" Front sway bar

Rear Suspension:

3/4" Rear sway bar kit,4 1/2"-Leaf Standard Eye Leaf Springs

Frame:

Competition Engineering Bolt-on Subframe Connectors..... Part Number 3140

We started to install the Sub-Frame connector on to the car today.We had to do some modifications on them.(Thats nothing new on this car!!!)The following pictures will show you what we did.These Sub-frame connect to the front perch of the leaf springs.When we started to instal them we found out that the emerency brake cable was in there way.So we made cuts on the sub-frame connectors.(picture 1 & 2.).

Picture # 3 shows why the notch was cut out of the driver side sub frame.Picture #4 shows ya a close up.

Picture #5 shows the Passanger side sub-frame connector installed.Picture #6 shows a close up of the cut out on that side.

PIcture #7 shows the front installation of the sub frame Passanger side.Picture # 8 is the sub-frame on the driver side.

We are going to also weld these in on a later date,but for now they are in....

Steering:

New Inner & Outer Tie Rod Ends, Adjusting Sleeves, Idler Arm, Original Steering box,Power steering.

Brakes:

Front Slotted Disc / Rear Drum

Slotted Rotors with stock calipers.
