Jason has just recently taken his place in the world of doll design after the BMAA awards, which in a way marked his debut. He was introduced to CustomDolls by his pal Dorothy Fannin. He enjoys being a part of the CustomDolls list, as it gives him a community where he finds new friends with similar ideas. He also has his own website as well as a Candi^®/Charice^® bulletin board. He does not customize while in school, and so squeezes these activities, along with his painting, sculpting and sketching, into his precious spare time.

What's new for Jason? "I am planning a collection for the year 2000, something really young, and really fresh. I plan on debuting my newest fall collection in Miller'$^®, but CustomDolls gets a sneak peek!" (Thanks, Jason!) Jason is known for his elegant and sleek evening gowns, his new collection will be featuring some suits, which is a new project for him. He also hopes to begin selling some of his dolls from his website and through online auctions. The dolls he has sold so far were bought within a few hours of putting them up for sale!

I asked Jason if he has any advice for up-and-coming designers, particularly young designers, as he has really been a pioneer in this area. He said, "Pursue your dreams! I can't say that I'm experienced enough to give advice, but with hard work and dedication, I guarantee that you will succeed!" We are proud of you, Jason, and wish you all the luck in the world. We hope to see your creations for many years to come!
