Entered the American Army in 1779 and served to the end of the Revolution War.
John moved to Morgan County, Georgia in 1800. When he died in 1812, his South
Carolina estate was administered by his younger brother, Elilsha Adair.
March 6, 1790, John and Jean sold 100 acres land on Duncan Creek to William
Davis. April 7, 1791, John and Jean sold 100 acres on Allison Creek to Ann
McClure. November 26, 1796 sold 75 acres on Duncan Creek to Francis Braddock.
On October 18, 1797, John and Jane sold to my grand father David Little 109
acres of land. Then on October 27, 1800 sold 250 acres of land on Duncan Creek
to Richard Holland.

John and Jane had the following children:
