Valentine's Candy 2008
I made three different kinds of candy for Valentine's Day this year.
I did coconut, and peanut butter bonbons and chocolate covered cherries.
My mother made the best candy so I used her recipes.
It was great it was kind of like having her hang out with me!

Here they are all together, more than 150 pieces!

This one is a peanut butter bonbon. I did
different markings for each candy type.

A chocolate cherry in the midst of a field of
coconut bonbons (white stripped).

A chocolate cherry feast! The drips look so yummy!

A coconut bonbon takes a bow.

The pretties in a basket ready to be delivered
or is that devoured?!

My pretty packaging up close. I made
an ingredients list in case anyone might have allergies.

My Valentine's treat from Sean, flowers
to match our Anniversary Celebration baloons which were
still floating after several weeks!

If you'd like to make some chocolate covered cherries,
here's a recipe just like mom used to make!
