I spent today preparing my journals to take.
I interviewed two large format journals and rejected
them both so today I made the one I want to take!
It was fun and a little scarry to do. I love the way it came out!

 A page with a photo of my beloved Sean and some Egyptian poetry. I transfered this from the earlier books. |
 On the back inside cover I put a feather. In Egyptian mythology the dead are judged and their heart weighed against a feather to see if it is light enough. I always want a light, happy heart! |

 This is the smaller book. I purchased a book I liked and have added some embellishments like these catalog images that Mary sent me! |

 I found a used Egypt guide and cut out maps of the places we will be visiting and put them into this pocket notebook. |
 Speaking of a pocket, this notebook has one in the back for special finds. |
