Jemez Adventures
We live only 1 1/2 away from the Jemez Springs area.
Jemez is a beautiful area with mountain, gorgeous trees and natural hot springs.
We are considering purchasing a weekend home there.
We have found a development we like very much called Thompson Ridge.
Here are some of the views of the area.

This is the first house we saw. We really loved it.
We did not however love the cracks in the foundation,
or the relator listing it. We put in a bid but it was not
accepted. Someone else was willing to pay more so
we will continue our search for our dream home in the Jemez.
This or something better.

The Jemez is higher elevation and spring comes later.

A publically shared pond in the Thompson Ridge area.

We really like Thompson Ridge and have
found a relator we like to help us find our place.
Her name is Carol Eitzen and she's lived up there for 15 years.

Thompson Ridge is right at the edge of forest land.
We took a hike nearby and found awesome scenery.

Another little place we looked at. We didn't
love the place but I do enjoy this photo of it.

Where will this road take us?

Another nearby area in Thompson Ridge where you
can go for a lovely walk.

We went up Memorial Day weekend and stopped by
the Star Feather Pow Wow at the Red Rocks.

The Indians dance around a central area for costume judging.

Craft booths feature lovely Indian handgoods
including these baskets I loved.
