Day Trip to Magadela 2008
In January we drove down just for a day of sight-seeing in New Mexico.
It was windy and cold but we enjoyed our day anyway.
Here are some photos of our mini adventure! Sean took all of these.

The observatory consists of 27 independent radio antennae.

Each antenna is 82 feet in diameter.

A sculpture with laser etching near the main research building.

We went for a hike after in the Magadela area.
This hill was pretty steep!

At the top of the hill.

The old church in a nearby ghost town at the border to the Kelly Mine.

This is a quick sketch I did of a 50's diner in Magadela.
They had good lemonade!
