Dick's Journey For Sight

      

                                 My home for 6 months        

 

 My name is Richard (Dick) MacPherson. I am a retired electrician. I joined the Middleton Lions Club in October 1970 (37 years ago). In April, my wife and I will celebrate our 37th anniversary (April 17 1971) in Georgia. The next day she will fly home to Middleton MA and I will walk home. I will follow the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. This will be my Journey For Sight walk, funding research to prevent blindness.

      A Journey of 1000 miles begins with one step. (Lao Tzu) My journey of 2175 miles begins with the same one step. I expect to take 5-6 months. You can follow my journey on this web site starting in April.
