Cryan' Shames

Formed as the Travelers in 1966, the Cryan' Shames emerged from Chicago's local music scene with drive and talent.  They soon landed on the record charts with their song "Sugar and Spice".  Vocalist Jim Pilster a.k.a. J. C. Hooke, wore a stainless steel hook on his right hand, which soon became the band's trademark.  This hook and jacket was donated by the band to the Hard Rock Cafe honoring the Isaac Guillory Family Fund.
