Being a 1xR fan is hard simply because there aren�t a lot of us, which is why it�s so difficult to find good artwork of the couple. I�ve spent an ungodly amount of time searching for quality doujinshi sites and with each new discovery I wondered if other people know about the places that I was finding. So I�m putting them here just incase you�re interested in Japanese artwork, Heero and Relena, or Gundam Wing in general. There are famous sites as well as lesser known artists represented here.

Understand that these sites and artwork are NOT mine and I am NOT affiliated with them. I will NEVER post doujinshi on my site. It�s simply not mine.

With that all established, please enjoy the sites. If you know of another site, please let me know and I�ll post it! Likewise, if you own one of these sites and want your link removed, let me know and I�ll take it down. ^_^

NAME: White Teddy
ARTIST: Mikan
COMMENTS: A very small gallery, currently only houses eight pieces of art. However, what is there is definitely worth looking at. The art is very clean cut and defined. Definitely has a cool style, the faces are kinda longish, very shiny hair, slender fingers. My only complaint is that some of the poses seem a little awkward, in that I don�t know if it would be physically possible to hold a full grown woman in an perfect upright sitting position, or, for that matter, sling her over your shoulder only half-way. Regardless, the art is still awesome. Crisp, bright, and happy. ^_^

NAME: Aqua Drops
ARTIST: Kajika Ono
COMMENTS: In my opinion, Kajika is the master artist of all the 1xR circles. Her art is so diverse, ranging from the ever played on angsty holding your dead lover in your arms to the complete opposite, a happy perky holiday embrace in a snowstorm. Her art is beautiful! There is no other word to describe it. There is a grace and a fluidity in all the images that keeps you hooked until you�ve seen them all. The site is fun because she changes the splash page often and puts up a new picture whenever she does. One of my favourites is a more recent work: Heero and Relena sitting on this ledge in front of the ocean. The colour is amazing and I love their expressions. There are also scattered pictures of Duo throughout the site and a few group shots. Definitely check it out!

WARNINGS: None really�there is a semi-nude one but it�s censored by a strategically placed kitty. Other than that, nothing to worry about.

ARTIST: Kaitoh Fur
COMMENTS:Nice style, very true to the original animation, has some pretty nifty pictures of Heero and profile pictures of other characters. My favourite is a nice shot of Duo and Heero all pimped out and packing heat.

ARTIST: Maruyama Yasichi
COMMENTS:I adore this site, it�s one of the best. It features Pop�n, Gundam Wing, and original art. Her style is just so CUTE. It works with serious or lighter pieces. Sketchy quality at times, wonderful poses, and covers almost all the characters. She obviously favours Quatre x Dorothy, but does art of all the het couples. The Valentines Day picture is adorable. Overall, interesting to look at and makes you very envious of her talent.

COMMENTS:: I was so excited when I found this site. It�s no couples of any kind, just straight up group shot art. How awesome. And just take a look at the art! So professional looking! Pictures range from Endless Waltz moments, to Episode Zero (!!!), to my personal favourite: Duo in a bar with Howard serving drinks. Great site!

COMMENTS:Classic 1xR, lovely pictures though at times they get a bit raunchy. Nothing too bad though. Has some of the cutest, natural pictures ever � my favourite being the one with them sitting on the couch with those two doggies. Aww. Also has SEED and Final Fantasy art. If you haven�t seen this stuff, you must.
WARNINGS: "Artsy Nudity� in a few of the pictures, so click at your own discretion. The third picture, first row as well as the fourth one, second row, should be avoided if you don�t want to see the nekkidness. Also, fear the kinky maid pictures! XD


NAME: Ronno & Kalus
ARTIST: Bambi Takada
COMMENTS:The most well-known of all 1xR sites, hands down. And it�s popular for a reason! This is the art that got me hooked. Simple, yet pretty. All the images are available for desktop wallpaper, which also rules. I can�t say much else about it except if you like this couple at all, then you need to see this site. It will rock your socks off. �There is not a breath of air� reigns supreme!

COMMENTS:Not Japanese fanart, persay, but who cares? This site is incredible. Cute 4xD and 1xR, some crossover and original character pictures, and � in general � a plethora of pretty things to look at. ^^ Really romantic pictures, all of them having a soft feel. The colours are so smooth! As if this wasn�t enough, there is a �Shirtless G-Boys� picture. Yeah that�s right, you click that link! And as an added bonus: gorgeous Harry Potter artwork! Can you tell I love this site?

COMMENTS:: Drool-worthy. Very accurate depiction of the characters according to the original anime. Which makes them �believable� I guess you could say. Cute winter scenes, love the pic of Heero snowboarding. Detailed backgrounds, some of the pictures have incredible shading. If you want simple, lovey dovey, pretty art, check this site out!

COMMENTS:: At first I couldn�t decide if I liked this style of not. It�s definitely different. I would describe it as darker and edgier in some cases, which is ironic because it�s so cartoon-y. Probably not for everyone, but I enjoy it. It�s always good to see something different. Lots of use of costuming and fantasy themes. Excellent stuff.

COMMENTS: Another well-known circle, Green Company has soft, pastel images that remind me of flowers, sunshine, and happy GW pairings. Mature, polished art with a warm feeling to it. They also draw a lot of other fanart besides Gundam, including Wolf�s Rain, SEED, Evangelion, and Princess Mononoke

NAME: V-Garden
ARTIST: Morineko
COMMENTS: This site is fantastic. I adore the drawing style. Plus it has two of my favourite pictures of Duo: one where he is a little boy sitting on Sister Helen�s lap, and the other is one of him looking at himself when he was younger with this sad expression on his face. Marvelous, makes a fangirl happy. I think this site is more 2xH than 1xR but both couples are present. And hey, the world needs more Duo and Hilde. There�s funny art of Relena as a playboy bunny, Duo and Wufei with some ginormous tattoos, the boys eating strawberries, and a really cute picture of Duo looking in the mirror with his hair down. Check it out!
WARNINGS: The art here rocks, but some of it can be a bit kinky. If you fear the kink, avoid �Mistress�, �Baby Pink�, and �Precious Red�. Other than that, you�re fine.

COMMENTS: : I really like this site, the style is cute and very very smooth, like all the art was airbrushed over for maximum prettiness. Two amazing pictures involve the couple with angel wings, and my absolute favourite is one of Relena attempting to bake a cake a failing miserably, cause it reminds me of a fic I wrote a long time ago.
NAVIGATION: In the bottom of the site there is a tan bar. Click on ��G/����. Then in the left hand corner you will see �GW�. Click on that.
WARNINGS: There are a few �less than kid friendly� pictures, but all are conveniently placed in the section labeled �R� so you don�t need to be scarred for life and have your eyes bleed, or whatever happens to you.


NAME: Plum Garden/Cyber Garden
ARTIST: Himi Kanzaki
COMMENTS: Another well-known site with a distinct style of artwork. Pretty images, often with a medieval theme. Characters are often drawn with gorgeous detailed wings. Lots of GW images as well as art from other series as well. A great place to browse.

COMMENTS: : I recently discovered this one and pleased to find that it had amazing art! In this gallery we discover Heero�s secret passion for playing the saxophone, Duo�s tendency to pose in incredibly awesome ways, Relena�s ability to pull off a fancy Victorian style dress as well as a Joan of Arc outfit, and an ad for Duo and Hilde�s new Japanese style restaurant and tea house. Cute, cute poses. Go look!
