Who
We Are And What We're Doing Here
We are Hellen and Bob Hersey from Portsmouth, New
Hampshire - a historic city located on the beautiful seacoast. Rich in history,
Portsmouth boasts the first lightening rod, installed on the Warner House, by Benjamin
Franklin.
This
is an active time for us, here in New Hampshire. See the sidebar to the right
titled, On The Side, for the latest in what's
new.
Bob
is a retired airfield firefighter/rescueman who worked at Pease AFB until retiring and
Hellen is a beautician who works at the Mark Wentworth Home and both are full-time
grandparents. Find out more here.
While
you are here, we hope that you will learn something about us and discover what life is
like for us living in the most wonderful region in the country - New England! We
have it all. From the mountains and lakes to the beautiful beaches of Rye and
Hampton we revel in the magnificent New Hampshire Seacoast.
What's
So Great About Living In Portsmouth?
You
probably think that we are going to say because Portsmouth was voted Money Magazines best
place to live in 1998. Wrong! It's the people who live here. Our family,
neighbors and friends are the life blood of the city. With its world famous
restaurants, historic places, arts and theaters, Portsmouth is sought after as the place
to live and work. Portsmouth is home to the famous Presscott
Park Arts Festival.
