- Introduction -
At 113,000 tons and 3080 passengers the Crown Princess is our biggest cruise ship to
date. We were worried that the enormous size of this ship would pose problems but it
didn't. We were able to find our way around fairly easily and never felt that we had
too far to walk to get anywhere. We were also concerned that with over 3000
passengers there would be long lines and trouble getting deck chairs but there wasn't.
Princess makes a big deal about MUTS - Movies Under The Stars. The Crown Princess
has a large, outdoor movie screen located on pool deck aft. We watched the Patriots
playoff game and by half time we found ourselves retreating to our cabin as the air
temperature was just too cool to enjoy MUTS outdoors.

- Rankings -
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The Good - Having nice dinner companions at second seating. Nelson's Dock Yard in
Antigua and scuba diving in Barbados and the aft pool bar tender replacing Bob's drink
that he knocked over.
The Bad - MUTS (Movies Under The Stars). The Captain's repeat passenger's
cocktail party (our invitations stated the partied started at 8:00 when it actually
started at 7:15).
The Ugly - No afternoon pool volleyball which we really look forward to. Our
catamaran excursion on St. Maarten when our itinerary was changed and we had to take a
zodiac from the beach back to the boat. We missed our afternoon at Orient Beach.
