One of the most popular groups ever to emerge from Philadelphia, the Hooters got their start with their independently released album "Amore". Selling over 100,000 copies, this album ultimately led to their first major label record deal with Columbia Records in 1984. "Amore" became a cult favorite in the United States and is considered by many to be their best album ever! Twenty years after its original release on LP vinyl and cassette, "Amore" was finally made available for the first time ever on compact disc. The CD includes original versions of "All You Zombies", "Hanging On A Heartbeat", "Blood From A Stone" and "Fightin' On The Same Side" not available on any other Hooters recording. The CD also includes two live bonus tracks: "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds - Live", as heard on the recent summer tours, and "Man In The Street", the first Hooters song ever heard on the radio. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
