"Old Fiddler's Convention" and New River Bike Trail
Galax, Virginia
August 12-14, 2005

After Bike Virginia, we stayed at a friend of Deborah's in Galax, Virginia.  Jan was a very gracious host and invited me up to attend the Old Fiddler's Convention and ride the entire 51 miles of the New River Trail.  So in mid-August, my brother, John, and I did just that.


The Convention was going on throughout the week.  We got to Galax Friday afternoon, before the evening festivities.

 
During the afternoons, the craftsmen are out hawking their wares.
