Since 1982, El Mexicano Restaurant & Taqueria officially opened. Before the restaurant, the owners started off with just one small catering truck, throughout time they gained the public eye and interest. Business started growing and everything was getting improved. Before we just sold tacos, burritos tortas and drinks, but as time went on, demand increased and we listened!
 
Once our first restaurant opened we offered almost every item of Mexican food you can imagen. We have added many items throughout time, and for the better. We offered authentic Mexican food with recipes originating in Jalisco and Michoacan in Mexico. Some our specialaties include carne asada tacos, giant two-pound burritos, Mixed Enchiladas, Mixed Fajitas, Menudo, Beef Stew, and the ever popular Agua de Horchata (rice water).
 
El Mexicano has been part of many events and areas around the valley. We have sold at Fresno State Bulldog games, FIFA World Cup soccer games, Valdivia Promotional Events in Fresno (Rainbow Ballroom), the Merced Fairgrounds, Madera Fairgrounds, Tulare Fairgrounds & the Stockton Fairgrounds We have also sold in the cities of Parlier, Orange Cove, Dinuba, Sultana, Sanger, Easton, Mendota, Kerman, Bakersfield, Bowles, Raisin City, San Joaquin, and many others.
 
El Mexicano has been featured at Pioneer Village many times, recently we were at KRZR's Manfest in Madera (photo is in last row, third over). In 2004 we served for the second time at The Big Fresno Fair! Our credentials are almost unmatched, we've have served the central valley for over 25 years and hope to do so for many more years.
