This page is dedicated to the enjoyment of life!
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow a mystery.
Today is a gift.
That's why it's called the present!

Dance Like No One's Watching
We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get
married, have a baby, then another. Then we are frustrated that the kids aren't
old enough and we'll be more content when they are. After that we're
frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We will certainly be
happy when they are out of that stage. We tell ourselves that our life
will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car,
are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire. The truth is, there's no better time
to be happy than right now. If not now, when? Your life will always be filled with challenges.
It's best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway. Treasure every moment that you have.
And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time...and remember
that time waits for no one...
So stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten
pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you
retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or
home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until the first or fifteenth, until
your song comes on, until you've had a drink, until you've sobered up, until you die to decide that there is no better
time than right now to be happy...
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
Thought for the day:
Work like you don't need money,
Love like you've never been hurt,
And dance like no one's watching.

~ The Value Of Time ~
To realize the value of one year:
Ask a student who has failed a final exam.
To realize the value of one month:
Ask a mother who has given birth to a
premature baby.
To realize the value of one week:
Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of one hour:
Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of one minute:
Ask the person who has missed the train,
bus or plane.
To realize the value of one-second:
Ask a person who has survived an
accident.
To realize the value of one millisecond:
Ask the person who has won a silver
medal in the Olympics.
Time waits for no one. Treasure every
moment you have.
You will
treasure it even more when you can share
it with someone special.

If I had my life to live over
by Erma Bombeck
I would have talked less and listened more.
I would have invited friends over to dinner even if the carpet was stained and the sofa faded.
I would have eaten the popcorn in the 'good' living room and worried much less about the dirt when someone wanted to light a fire in the fireplace.
I would have taken the time to listen to my grandfather ramble about his youth.
I would never have insisted the car windows be rolled up on a summer day because my hair had just been teased and sprayed.
I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose before it melted in storage.
I would have sat on the lawn with my children and not worried about grass stains.
I would have cried and laughed less while watching television - and more while watching life.
I would have shared more of the responsibility carried by my husband.
I would have gone to bed when I was sick instead of pretending the earth would go into a holding pattern if I weren't there for the day.
I would never have bought anything just because it was practical, wouldn't show soil or was guaranteed to last a lifetime.
Instead of wishing away nine months of pregnancy, I'd have cherished every moment and realized that the wonderment growing inside me was the only chance in life to assist God in a miracle.
When my kids kissed me impetuously, I would never have said, "Later. Now go get washed up for dinner."
There would have been more "I love yous".. more "I'm sorrys"... but mostly, given another shot at life, I would seize every minute...look at it and really see it... live it...and never give it back.
