The Minnesota Moores, Hobo Days 2006

Julie and I raced out to South Dakota without the boys (Steve was taking the ACT test and John was way too tried from playing a gig to get up at 5am) to see Kristina and enjoy the Hobo days celebration at South Dakota State University. We left here at 5:30 am and rolled into Brookings at 9:30am in time to see the parade, which Kristina’s sorority had a float in. Finally got to see Kristina’s apartment on campus and meet her roommates. After lunch we climbed the Coughlin Campanile (180 steps, our legs were sore for a few days) and enjoyed a great view of the University and the surrounding countryside. Also toured the agricultural museum on campus. After dinner we headed back to home for the conclusion of a fast, fun and tiring day.
