After swearing never to go on another long vacation road trip we packed up the van and headed out on a 3000 mile road trip. We headed out of Minnesota through North Dakota into Montana on our way to our first destination, Pocatello Idaho to visit Julie's sister Patty and her husband Rick. Julie's mom Barb came down to Pocatello to visit. After a few days there we drove up to Jackson Wyoming to see Patty's son Ben and his wife Guillermina. Guillermina's parents were in town from Mexico so we had a family celebration of their wedding and got to meet each other. Kristina flew into Jackson after her summer job at Schawns Foods finished to meet us. From Jackson we went through the Tetons, Yellowstone, Cody, Big Horn Mountains, Devils Tower, into South Dakota for the Black Hills and Bad Lands. After dropping Kristina in Sioux Falls we drove home. Maybe a little much quality family time but we had a good time.
