Amy began her music program in 2002 when she
attended a three day workshop on music and children.
Having a passion for music, Amy wanted to create
something for the day care center that she is
employed at. She began with infants and toddlers
feeling that music enrichment should begin at birth.
Throughout the years, Amy has created a music
program for infants through kindergarten that is not
like any other!

- Amy has a degree in Early Childhood
Development, a CDA in infants and toddlers, plus
multiple certificates in Early Childhood
Education.
- Amy has been in the field of Early Childhood
for 12 years, with the last nine years at the
same center. She is now currently titled “Child
Development Specialist.”
- Amy has taught herself through books and
conferences on how to give children music
enhancement for all ages. She has used trial and
error through her years to help perfect her
program.

- Amy has written a short story for “Legacy of
Caring” about music that will be published in a
collection of essays.
- Amy has presented at numerous conferences
both local and national. These conferences
include the following:
- NAEYC (California and Illinois)
- CAEYC (Chicago)
