The Ned Devines are a collegial and talented group of musicians whose cardinal rule is, "you must be having fun, or you can't be a Ned!" Friendships over the years and the playing of Irish traditional music at sessions and in local bands together has melded the Neds into a musical group that generates some of the finest trad music in the Tallahassee area.
The emphasis in The Ned Devines is on the traditional. They strive to recreate the ambience of an Irish pub musical experience that one might find in the pubs of rural Ireland or in the traditional musical enclaves on the North side of the River Liffey in Dublin.
