What's going on here?

Easter the Hamster.
This guy took a long time to get
comfortable with people (okay - me)
but now it is difficult to keep him in his
cage. He either wants to climb on me
or run throughout the apartment in
his purple ball. Tonight he's been at
it for nearly 2 hours. I think he's finally
tired out. I know I am!
