Scale Rulers

Recently I ran across a thread on the My Largescale.com Forum that was talking about the availability of decent scale rulers. A topic I've always had some interest in but never thought it was worth spending too much time or money on. Then a response pops up from Alan Prichard saying he has a file he created with just such a ruler available. In fact, the file actually has two rulers with two scales on each for a total of four scales. Also included in the file are a male and female form (outline) in each of the four scales. Alan has given us permission to make this file available to everyone as long as it's used for personal use only. A deal I think we can all accept considering the time and effort put into this excellent tool.

It's simple, easy to print and something that can really help you out in your largescale endeavors. The rulers cover 1:32, 1:29, 1:22.5 and 1:20.3. Simply click on the link below to download the PDF (requires Adobe Reader to open) and print out a copy on your printer. Tip: Make sure you do not have any options turned on to stretch or shrink the page onto the paper or else the rulers may be slightly off. Each ruler has a scale along the edge and a real life 1:1 scale down the center. After printing the page use a regular ruler to make sure the 1:1 scale of the ruler you printed is correct. That's it! Your ready to use them. I printed one set for my wife and one set for myself then laminated them so they won't get ruined too soon. I have my set in my wallet and my wife carries her set in her purse. They really come in handy at the stores when your standing in the clearance isle trying to decide whether or not something will work on the layout...

Scale Rulers, just print them and use!

If you download and use these rulers please let Alan know that you appreciate his efforts.
