This Web Site

I have had a few people ask me how this site was created and maintained so here's a little blurb on how it's come to be.

The site itself was started with an evil, mean and nasty creature by the name of Microsoft FrontPage 97. Then later, FrontPage was upgraded to the 98 version. It proved to be a great way to get something online in short order with little effort involved. Beyond that, FrontPage is nothing but down hill, fast. I tried the 2000 version and hate it with a passion. Since this sites creation I've found that nothing can do as good a job as sitting here and writing the HTML by hand in a plain old editing program such as Notepad or Wordpad. When I write my own "code" (and no, that's not the correct term) I can make everything look just right and work the way it was intended to. When this site is run through HTML test utilities, it fails miserably. Microsoft adds so much junk to the HTML that all the test software can't figure out what is going on, thus it fails. I keep telling myself that I will redo the entire site by hand so it's "right" but I just don't have the time right now to sit down and do it. Anyway, some of the site is written by hand but not much.

If you have any questions, ask away!
