The addition of Eddie and Rudy took R.u.R. to a larger audience opening for the B-52's at Detroit's Masonic Temple R.U.R rocked the standing room only crowd of 5000 people thru a flawless show concluding with a standing ovation! R.U.R. also opened for Ozzy Osbournes blizzard of Oz featuring new comer Randy Rhoades, Iggy Pop and ,Jim Carroll, to name just a few more national acts the band has played with .R.U.R did move to Hollywood and Secured a national record deal with Goverment Records after recording the tracks for their release the label found itself in trouble with the I.R.S. the band packed it in and came back to Detroit played a few more shows and disbanded.

Rudy went on to play with Mike Quatro,got an endorsement with Ludwig Drum's ,Hit no3 in 1984 With R.J.'s latest Arrival with the single (Shackles)then released a solo album in 1991 under the name Rudy Wild and charted with his single find Your Way back from the album titled Wild 1,and recorded an album with the legend Carl Perkins!
