A founding member of TSQ, Damian has been a
member of the Contra Costa Chamber Orchestra, UCDavis Symphony Orchestra, UCDavis Baroque Ensemble, Apollo Baroque Orchestra, and the Holy Names Symphony,
Bohemian Club Orchestra, Symphony of the Redwoods and has served as associate
concertmaster with YASO. He has been assistant conductor for Woodland Opera
House's 1998 production of the Sound of Music, in which he conducted two
back-to-back shows on the same day. He has also been principal second violin and
concertmaster with the Cotati Philharmonic. He currently performs with the North State Symphony
based in Chico/Redding. Damian is a freelance composer, arranger, and a pianist
to a lesser degree. He holds a B.A. in Music and B.S. in Environmental and
Resource Sciences from UCDavis and is a recipient of the David S. Saxon award
for excellence in the performance of early music and the Fanny Kopald Stein
award for excellence in music performance. He teaches instrumental music in the Antioch Unified School District and chamber music for strings at Los Medanos College in Pittsburg.
